Spain’s industrial price index up 3.3 percent in March

In March, Spain's industrial price index in March increased by 3.3 percent year on year, with this growth rate down 0.1 percentage points compared to the year-on-year increase in the preceeding month, according to the Spanish national statistics office (INE). The same index went up 0.8 percent month on month.

In detail, the year-on-year increase in March was 0.7 percent for capital goods, one percent for intermediate goods, 1.6 percent for durable consumer goods, 1.7 percent for non-durable consumer goods and 9.5 percent for energy.

During March, the industrial price index in the field of base metals manufacturing reached 134.1 points, up 0.6 percent month on month and down 0.7 percent year on year.
