South Korean iron ore imports up in November

On November 26, SteelOrbis reported that South Korea imported 59.85 million mt of iron ore for the January to October 2018 period, down only 0.43 million mt from 60.28 million mt for the same 10-month period the previous year.

According to provisional customs data, South Korea imported 7.33 million mt of iron ore in November 2018, up 22 percent from 5.99 million mt of iron ore imported in the same month the previous year.

South Korea imported 67.18 million mt of iron ore in the January to November 2018 period, up 1 percent compared to 66.27 million mt in the same 11-month period the previous year.
