Siderar shapes the final form of its expansion plan

Argentine steel producer Siderar is reportedly outlining the final details of its $560 million expansion project, which aims to increase current production capacity of the company to 3.5 million tons from 2.4 million tons. The investment plan covers establishment of No.1 blast furnace and reconstruction of No.2 blast furnace. Moreover the expansion plan is expected to increase labor force in the region. Siderar, which produces coke, cast iron and hot rolled, cold rolled and laminated plate, is the largest iron and steel company in Argentina.
