On October 31, Shougang announced its long product prices for November, making no change from October levels. The details are as follows:
1. The ex-factory price of 16-25 mm diameter HRB 335 rebar is still RMB 3,915/mt ($524/mt), while that of 12-14 mm stays at RMB 4,065/mt ($544/mt). 16-25 mm diameter HRB 400 rebar costs RMB 4,045/mt ($541/mt), while 12-14 mm costs RMB 4,195/mt ($562/mt).
2. The price of 6.5 mm diameter Q235 high speed wire rod is still at RMB 3,865/mt ($517/mt).
All the above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of November 1, 2007.
