Shougang Jingtang achieves record daily pig iron output

Hebei Province-based Chinese steel producer Shougang Jingtang United Iron & Steel Co. (Shougang Jingtang) has announced that its pig iron output on February 21 reached 26,900 mt, constituting an all-time record daily pig iron output for the company.

On the date in question, Shougang Jingtang's blast furnace No. 1 produced 13,700 mt of pig iron, while its blast furnace No. 2 produced 13,200 mt.
