Shougang foresees crude steel output of 32.36 million mt in 2013

On January 15, Beijing-based Chinese steel producer Shougang Group announced that its estimated total output of crude steel in 2012 was 31.42 million mt, up 4.6 percent or 1.38 million mt year on year. In addition, the group’s sales revenue for 2012 is estimated at RMB 225.5 billion ($36 billion).
 
Shougang also stated that in 2013 it expects to achieve a crude steel output of 32.36 million mt, while it foresees sales revenue of RMB 221 billion ($35 billion) for the year.
