Shanxi Taiyuan Steel announces November prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai On October 24, Taiyuan Steel announced its flat rolled prices for November. The details are as follows: Hot rolled prices increased RMB 100/mt ($13). Thus, the price of 3.0 mm thick Q235 hot rolled coil is now RMB 3,420/mt ($433), while that of 5.5 mm is RMB 3,190/mt ($404). Meanwhile, prices of medium plate remained unchanged. The ex-factory price of 14-20 mm thick Q235 medium plate is RMB 3,050/mt ($386). The above prices exclude tax (value-added tax at 17 percent) and are effective as of October 24, 2006.
