Shanxi Province's coal output rises by 43.32 percent in 2017

In 2017, the coal output of China's Shanxi Province amounted to 875 million mt, up by 43.32 million mt year on year, while coal sales of coal producers in the province amounted to 790 million mt, increasing by 37.84 million mt year on year, as announced by Shanxi Province Coal Industry Bureau. In the given year, Shanxi Province eliminated 22.65 million mt of coal capacity.

Xiang Erniu, director of Shanxi Province Coal Industry Bureau, stated that the province plans to eliminate 23.0 million mt of coal production capacity in 2018.
