According to Chinese steel giant Baosteel Group's subsidiary Shanghai Meishan Mining Co., Meishan Mining shipped 372,606 mt of raw iron ore in August this year, exceeding its target for the month.
Meanwhile, in August Meishan Mining produced 1.21 million mt of iron ore concentrate, increasing by four percent year on year, while it sold 1.91 million mt of iron ore concentrate, increasing by one percent year on year.
As of June 23, qualified raw ore output from Meishan Mining‘s mining fields totaled 2.1537 million mt, equal to 56.67 percent of the miner's target for the year.
