Shagang Manganese Industry to build SiMn alloy project

Guangxi-based Shagang Manganese Industry Co., a subsidiary of Jiangsu Province-based Chinese steel producer Shagang Group, is to build a new silicomangese alloy project with an annual output capacity of 300,000 mt, as announced by Metallurgical Corporation of China (MCC).
 
On January 13, Industrial Furnace Company, a part of MCC subsidiary China First Metallurgical Group, won the bid to carry out the construction of the project. Construction work is to be completed with a period of 106 days.
