Shagang Group starts construction of 1,420 mm cold rolled steel project

Jiangsu Province-based Chinese steelmaker Shagang Group has announced that its subsidiary Yangzijiang Cold Rolling Sheet Co. has lately broken ground for its 1,420 mm cold rolled steel project.
 
Shagang Group states that the project will cost a total of RMB 4.3 billion ($677.2 million), while the construction work is expected to last two years. The planned annual output capacity of the project is 2.6 million mt.
