Shaanxi Province coal output reaches 405 million mt in 2011

According to the data issued by the Shaanxi Provincial Coal Production Safety and Monitoring Authority, total coal production in China's Shaanxi Province in 2011 came to 405 million mt, up 42.34 million mt or 11.7 percent year on year.
 
The coal output figure in question accounts for 10.8 percent of China's total coal output volume, with Shaanxi Province ranking third in terms of coal output among Chinese provinces. In 2011, Shaanxi Province idled a total of 97 small coal mines with an aggregate production capacity of 6.39 million mt.
