Russian steelmaker Severstal has announced that it is increasing automobile body sheet deliveries for international automakers that assemble their cars in Russia, along with ramping up sales of added-value products.

Since the beginning of the current year, Severstal's Cherepovets Steel Mill supplies rolled metal products for Volkswagen cars, including the VW Polo Sedan and VW Tiguan. Its rolled products will also be used in Skoda's Octavia and Fabia car models.

Additionally, Severstal has signed a new long-term delivery contract with Hyundai to supply rolled products to the assembly works at its St. Petersburg facilities.
