Supplies of scrap to Zaporizhstal in August were 12.9 percent lower than the plant's projected monthly needs of 70,000 metric tons, totaling 61,000 metric tons.
Enakievsk MZ during the same period received 35,300 metric tons of scrap - showing a 45.7 percent shortage compared to its expected requirements.
Istil received 89,200 metric tons of scrap in August 2007 - 18.2 percent above its projected requirements of 110,000 metric tons.
Alchevsk received 24.8 percent less scrap than its planned consumption of 60,000 metric tons. The August supplies of scrap to the mill totaled 45,100 metric tons.
Mittal Steel Kriviy Rih obtained 67,600 metric tons of scrap during the eighth month of 2007 - 25.7 percent less than its planned consumption of 91,000 metric tons.
Azovstal received 54.4 percent less scrap than its planned intake volume for August 2007 (50,000 metric tons). Scrap supplies to the plant totaled 23,300 metric tons.
Makeevsk received only 30,900 metric tons of scrap in August 2007 - 16.5 percent less than the mill's projected needs of 37,000 metric tons.
