SAIL supplies 43,000 mt of steel for Eastern Peripheral Highway project

Indian state-owned steel producer Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has announced that it has supplied 43,000 mt of steel for the recently inaugurated Eastern Peripheral Highway in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. At present, SAIL is also supplying steel products for the swiftly upcoming Western Peripheral Expressway in the northern Indian state of Haryana.

SAIL stated that its supply for the 135-kilometer Eastern Peripheral Highway project includes TMT (thermo-mechanical treatment) rebars, plates and structurals.
