Russia’s stainless steel product consumption down 12.2% in Jan-Sept

Russia’s consumption of stainless steel products in the January-September period of this year decreased by 12.2 percent year on year to 144,954 mt, according to Russia-based SpetsStal Association. 
 
During the first nine months of the current year, in Russia the total consumption volume of hot rolled stainless steel products decreased by 8.9 percent, while the consumption of cold rolled stainless steel products declined by 13.4 percent, both year on year.
