Russia’s stainless steel imports break record in 2010
According to the estimations of the Russian Special Steel and Alloys Consumers and Suppliers Association (Spetsstal), in 2010 Russia's imports of the main stainless steel products increased by 78.9 percent year on year to 196,100 mt. Compared to 2008, which had been a record-breaking year, Russia's stainless steel imports in 2010 increased 9.7 percent.
