Russian iron ore concentrate output rises in first six months

According to the State Statistics Committee of Russia (Russtat), in the January-June period this year Russia produced 51.8 million mt of iron ore concentrate and 19.7 million mt of iron ore pellets, up 2.5 percent and 3.2 percent respectively compared to the same period last year.

In addition, in June Russia produced 8.7 million mt of iron ore concentrate and 3.2 million mt of iron ore pellets, down 1.1 percent and 0.4 percent respectively compared to May this year.
