As SteelOrbis previously reported, the agreement signed between the European Community and Russia on October 26, 2007 regarding the trade of certain steel products provides that unused quantities for a given year may be carried over to the following year up to a maximum of seven percent of the relevant quantitative limit set out in the agreement. Thus, the adjusted quota allocated to Russia for 2010 increased by almost six percent from 3,184,445 mt to 3,370,249 mt.
