Russia starts CVD investigation on flat steel imports from Kazakhstan

Russia's Ministry of Industry and Trade has started a countervailing duty (CVD) investigation on flat steel imports from Kazakhstan, following the complaints of Russian flat steel producers alleging that subsidized flat steel imports from Kazakhstan increased significantly in the first seven months of the current year, according to media reports.

The investigation will last six months and will cover hot rolled, cold rolled and coated flat steel products under the Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7208, 7209, 7210, 7211, 7212 7225 and 7226.
