Rebar and wire rod exports of China-based Yonggang surge in H1

Jiangsu Province-based Chinese steelmaker Yonggang Group has announced that in the first half of the current year its total rebar and wire rod export volume reached 470,000 mt, increasing by 160 percent compared to the same period last year.
 
The increase in export volume was achieved against the background of a general slowdown in exports from China. In the given period, Yonggang earned total revenues of $310 million from its export sales of rebar and wire rod.
