Raw coal output in Shanxi totals 43 million mt in May

According to the Industry and Information Technology Department of China's Shanxi Province, in May this year the raw coal output in the province totaled 43.0087 million mt, up by 22.89 percent or 8.0098 million mt year on year and up by 14.26 percent or 5.3677 million mt month on month. Meanwhile, in May the province's sales volume of raw coal totaled 41.1945 million mt, equivalent to 95.78 percent of the output for the month.

On the other hand, the output of raw coal in Shanxi Province amounted to 171.8138 million mt in the first five months of the current year, up by 7.32 percent or 11.7265 million mt year on year. Meanwhile, in January-May sales of raw coal totaled 163.8472 million mt, up 4.89 percent or 7.6382 million mt year on year.
