Rautaruukki's sale of long product mills receives approval

Finnish steelmaker Rautaruukki announced today that BT Norway AS has received relevant regulatory approvals for acquiring Rautaruukki's Nordic reinforcing steel business. The transaction is expected to be completed in early August. As previously reported by SteelOrbis, Rautaruukki signed an agreement to sell its Nordic reinforcing steel business to BT Norway AS, a 100 percent subsidiary of Bosian Time S.L, for Euro 123 million in April.
