Rautaruukki inks €350 million revolving credit facility

Finnish steelmaker Rautaruukki (Ruukki) has signed a €350 million revolving credit facility with its relationship banks.

According to a statement released by Ruukki, the loan has replaced a revolving credit facility of €300 million signed in April 2005.

Ruukki said, "The new facility has a maturity of three years and can be used flexibly for general corporate purposes."

The mandated lead arrangers and bookrunners of the facility are Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Handels-banken, Nordea, Pohjola Bank, Sampo Bank and SEB. In addition, ING Bank has joined the facility as lead arranger, while Intesa Sanpaolo has joined as arranger.

Rautaruukki supplies metal-based components, systems and integrated systems to the construction and engineering industries. The company provides a wide selection of metal products and services. Rautaruukki has operations in 26 countries and employs 13,300 people. The company's net sales in 2008 totaled €3.9 billion.

Rautaruukki uses the marketing name Ruukki.
