Preliminary results of AD review on HR flat products from Thailand

On December 27, 2004, the DOC initiated an antidumping duty administrative review on certain hot rolled carbon steel flat products imported from Thailand. The period of review was November 1, 2003, through October 31, 2004. The DOC preliminarily determined that sales of subject merchandise by Sahaviriya Steel Industries (SSI) have been made at not less than normal value. Accordingly, the DOC decided to revoke the order on hot-rolled steel from Thailand with respect to SSI. Moreover, the DOC decided to revoke this review with respect to Nakornthai Strip Mill Public Co Ltd and G Street Public Company Limited, because both companies did not make any shipments of subject merchandise to the US during the period of review. The weighted-average dumping margin existing for the period November 1, 2003, through October 31, 2004 is as follows:

Producer/Exporter Margin

SSI.................................0.01 percent (de minimis)
