Prakash Industries increases sales by 22 percent y-on-y

According to India-based Prakash Industries’ financial reports for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2019, net sales increased to Rs Crore 3,588 (US $518 million) from Rs Crore 2,935 (US $451 million) the previous fiscal year, up 22 percent. EBITDA increased 33 percent year-on-year from Rs Crore 596 (US $91 million) last fiscal year to Rs Crore 794 (US $115 million).

Prakesh Industries is an integrated steel and power company which operates steel mills, power plants and mines including iron ore. Based in the state of Chhattisgarh, it produces DRI, billets, and blooms for the production of finished steel such as wire rod, HB wires, TMT bars, and structural longs.
