POSCO and ArcelorMittal officials meet for technology exchange

The iron-making and coke-making departments of South Korean steelmaker POSCO and world's largest steelmaker, Luxembourg-based ArcelorMittal held a technology exchange session at POSCO's Pohang and Gwangyang Works for three days from November 23.

According to a POSCO statement, the annual event to foster cooperation between the two global steel giants through technological cooperation featured 11 representatives from ArcelorMittal and 42 managerial officials from POSCO

The two companies will seek to grow together through continuous technological and cultural exchanges, the statement said.
