Pangang Group Titanium eyes 1 million mt titanium concentrate output by 2015

Sichuan Province-based Pangang Group Titanium Industry Co. has announced that its total titanium dioxide output in May this year exceeded the expected 5,500 mt, reaching 5,720 mt, while its total titanium slag output was 9,190 mt, down 4,000 mt from the targeted level due to rationing of electricity. The company's net profit in May far exceeded what was expected, while in the January-May period total net profit exceeded the company's target by 753 percent.
 
By 2015, Pangang Group Titanium Industry plans to annually produce one million mt of titanium concentrate, 360,000 million mt of titanium slag and 510,000 mt of titanium dioxide.
