An official from Sichuan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Chengdu Plate Co., a subsidiary of Pangang Group, has stated that the total monthly output capacity of the company's coated production units has increased to 3,000 mt as compared to just 1,000 mt in September 2011. Meanwhile, the official also said that the company will further increase its color coated production as well as make efforts to enlarge its market share.
The Chengdu Plate Co. official also said that the market focus of the company's color coated products has shifted from high-end household appliances to common building construction, while, instead of galvanized sheet, galvalume sheet is utilized as a color coated substrate to improve the quality of coated products
