Russian pipe producing company United Metallurgical Company (OMK) has stated that in September of the current year its foundry-rolling complex produced 63,000 mt of hot rolled coil (HRC), up 13 percent year on year. Also in the given month, the foundry-rolling complex of OMK produced 12,000 mt of steel sheets and 23,000 mt of steel strips. In September this year, the foundry-rolling complex of OMK shipped a total of 73,000 mt of steel products.
In the January-September period of the current year, the OMK complex produced 846,000 mt of hot rolled coils, up nine percent compared to the same period last year, while it also produced 166,000 mt of steel sheets and 171,000 mt of steel strips. In the given period, the complex shipped 857,000 mt of hot rolled coil, sheet and strip, up 10 percent year on year.
