In June of the current year, the foundry-rolling complex of Russian pipe producing company United Metallurgical Company (OMK), produced 85,000 mt of hot rolled coil (HRC), up 12 percent compared to June 2010. Also in the given month, the foundry-rolling complex of OMK produced 15,000 mt of sheets and 13,000 mt of strips. In June this year, the foundry-rolling complex of OMK shipped 97,000 mt of steel products, up 38 percent year on year.
In the January-June period of the current year, the OMK complex produced 538,000 mt of hot rolled coils, up 15 percent compared to the same period last year, while it also produced 93,000 mt of sheet and 114,000 mt of strips. In the given period, the complex shipped 523,000 mt of hot rolled coil, sheet and strip, up 12.5 percent year on year.
