OMK’s foundry and rolling facility ups output by 18.2 percent in Q1

Russian steel and pipe producer OMK has announced that in Q1 this year its foundry and rolling facility produced 260,300 mt of hot rolled coils - up 18.2 percent year on year, including 53,200 mt of steel sheets and 65,300 mt of steel strips. In March, OMK's foundry and rolling facility produced 94,700 mt of hot rolled coils - up 14.5 percent year on year, including 16,200 mt of steel sheets and 23,700 mt of steel strips.
 
OMK's deliveries for Q1 this year amounted to 257,800 mt - up 25.1 percent year on year, with March deliveries totaling 94,100 mt.
