OMK invests in stainless production

Russian United Metallurgical Company (OMK) has announced today that it took a decision to construct two anticorrosive coating lines for outside coating of pipes with large diameters at Vyksa Steel Works and to modernize the line of anticorrosive coating for inside coating of pipes with the large diameters. The total amount of investment, allocated for implementation of the above projects, is equal to Ruble 2 billion (approx. $74.72 million). The construction works are scheduled to start in September 2006 and finished by January 2008.
