NWR may acquire stake in Ferrexpo

The Czech Republic's largest hard coal mining company New World Resources (NWR) has announced that its major shareholder RPG Industries (RPGI) has acquired a 20.79 percent stake in the UK-based company Ferrexpo, whose main interests are in Ukrainian iron ore assets.

RPGI has offered to transfer the stake in question to NWR at cost. NRW is to discuss the offer and make a relevant announcement on the issue.
