NSC to increase sheet prices in April

Japanese steel producer Nippon Steel Corporation (NSC) announced that it completed price negotiations with its customers and that it would increase its steel sheet contract prices in April. Certain customers reportedly agreed to a significant Yen 15'000 ($143) per ton hike. Sources report that these customers accepted such a price increase since they urgently need steel sheet.
