Washington-based Northwest Pipe Company, the largest manufacturer of engineered steel pipe water systems in North America with plants in Washington, California, Texas, West Virginia, Missouri, and Oregon, has sold the real estate at its long-dormant Houston, Texas site.

Previously, the site produced OCTG pipes, but the company has instead opted to sale the property for $7.1 million and is using the proceeds from the sale to “increase working capital requirements as the company continues to grow” according to a press release.
