North American rig counts, week ending April 21

According to the most recent report by Baker Hughes, the weekly US rotary rig count is up 28 from last week to 1,800. This reflects a year-on-year increase of 318 rigs.

The Canadian rig count is down 24 from last week and is now at 143, representing a year-on-year increase of 33 rigs.

The US Offshore rig count in 28-up two from last week and down 25 year-over-year.
