In its financial results according to Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) for the third quarter of 2012, Russian steelmaker NLMK Group's net profit increased by 87.85 percent year on year to RUB 6.9 billion ($0.22 billion).
In the given quarter, NLMK's sales revenues increased by 3.42 percent to RUB 59.8 billion ($1.9 billion), compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year, driven by increased sales.
