NLMK increases its sales by 65%
Russian steel producer Novolipetsk Metal Works (
NLMK) has recently posted its financial results regarding Jan-Oct period.
In the subject period, the company increased its sales by 65% to RBL 102.24 billion ($3.5 billion) against the sales recorded in the same period of previous year.
In the first ten months of the year, the company produced 7.46 million tons of cast iron, up by 5%, 7.6 million tons of steel, up by 4%, 7.2 million tons of rolled metal, up by 5%, 11.3 million tons of agglomerate, up by 3% and 3.67 million tons of coke, up by 2% against the figures recorded in the first ten months of 2003.
