Nippon Steel to merge three subsidiaries

Japan-based Nippon Steel Corporation has announced that it plans to establish Nippon Steel Processing Co. on October 1 this year, to strengthen its supply chain and further improve its ability to meet market demand and enhance its products.

The company will merge its existing subsidiaries Nippon Steel Mitsubishi Metal Industry, Nippon Steel Seiko and Nippon Steel Wire to establish the new company. These companies have a total of 785 employees.
