New welded pipe project to be built in Xinjiang

The Kuitun-Dushanzi Economic and Technological Development Zone in China's Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region has announced that on September 2 it signed a contract with Liaoning Province-based Chinese pipemaker Hongyuan Group Jinxi Pipe Co., Ltd regarding the construction of a new welded pipe producing facility in the development zone.
 
The new welded pipe facility will have an annual output capacity of one million metric tons and will be built with an investment of RMB 1 billion (about $15.6 million).
