Laiwu Special Steel develops 25CrMoTi steel for OCTG production

Laiwu Special Steel, a part of Chinese steelmaker Shandong Iron and Steel Group, has succeeded in producing 25CrMoTi steel in its electric furnace for use in the production of oil country tubular goods (OCTG), as announced by Shandong Iron and Steel Group.
 
The production of the steel in question indicates that Laiwu Special Steel is capable of successfully producing low phosphorus and low sulfur steel.
