New stainless pipe production facility to be built in Gansu, China

Shandong Province-based Chinese company Weihai Wanfeng Group Co. has signed an agreement with the authorities in the city of Wuwei in China’s Gansu Province regarding construction of a machinery production base, which will include a stainless steel pipe production facility with a planned annual output of 50,000 mt, according to local media sources.
 
Total investment in the overall project will amount to RMB 400 million, with RMB 100 million of this to be invested in the stainless steel pipe production facility. The new stainless steel pipe facility will fill a gap in the production of stainless steel pipes in western China.
