The US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced Monday the initiation of a new shipper review in connection with the countervailing duty (CVD) order on cut-to-length carbon-quality steel plate from Korea.

The new shipper review was requested by Hyundai Steel Co., Ltd. The purpose of the new shipper review is to calculate a company-specific subsidy margin for Hyundai Steel.

Last week, the DOC initiated a new shipper review of Hyundai Steel in connection with the antidumping (AD) order on cut-to-length carbon-quality steel plate from Korea.
