In the January-August period this year, China’s excavator output amounted to 163,049 units, down 22.1 percent year on year, as announced by National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

In August alone, China’s excavator output came to 13,354 units, down 37.4 percent year on year, while increasing by 0.88 percent month on month.

Capital constraints, coupled with high temperatures and rainy weather, exerted a negative impact on the excavator output in August.
