MOC: Average steel prices in China down slightly during Dec 16-22

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during the December 16-22 period this year the average finished steel prices in China indicated a slight decline.

In the given period, the average prices of hot rolled steel strip, rebar and high-speed wire rod decreased by 0.6 percent, 0.5 percent and 0.5 percent week on week.

In the same period, the average prices of thermal coal, coking coal and smoke-free lump coal declined by 0.7 percent, 0.6 percent and 0.2 percent, respectively, week on week.
