Mobarakeh to produce 5.3 million mt of steel in current Iranian year

"Mobarakeh plans to produce 5.3 million mt of steel in the current Iranian year [started March 21, 2010] while we produced about 4.9 million mt last year," Mohammad Rajaie, managing director of Iranian state-owned flat steel producer Mobarakeh Steel Co., stated lately. Mr. Rajaie also added that Mobarakeh is going to reach an annual capacity of 9-10 million mt within the next three to four years via the implementation of development plans.
