Iranian state-owned flat steel producer Mobarakeh Steel recorded an output of 1,127,000 mt of hot rolled coil (HRC) and 1,078,000 mt of slab in the first three months (March 21-June 20) of the current Iranian year, up 46 percent and down 12 percent respectively compared to same period of the last Iranian year, according to the Iranian Mining and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
Meanwhile, in the same period, Saba compact strip production plant - a subsidary of Mobarkeh - produced 171,000 mt of HRC and also 172,000 mt of thin slab, up 43 percent and 38 percent respectively year on year, also according to IMIDRO.
