Mobarakeh Steel’s slab output regresses by 11 percent

Iranian integrated flat steel mill Mobarakeh Steel produced 720,000 mt of slab and 747,000 mt of hot rolled coil in the first two months (March 21-May 20) of the current Iranian year, down 11 percent and up 71 percent respectively compared to same period of the last Iranian year, according to the new figures from the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
 
Meanwhile, Saba compact strip processing plant, a subsidary of Mobarakeh, produced 119,000 mt of thin slab and 119,000 mt of hot rolled coil in the first two months of the current Iranian year, up 48 percent and 57 percent respectively compared to the same period of the last Iranian year, according to the same source.
