MMZ’s rolled steel output up 80.1 percent in May from April

In May this year, Moldavian Metallurgical Works (MMZ), a steelmaker based in the Transnistrian region of Moldova, produced 28,069 mt of rolled products, up 80.1 percent from the previous month. In the given month, the company’s rolled product shipments increased by 27.4 percent month on month to 23,205 mt, including 10,758 mt of reinforcing bars and 12,447 mt of wire rod
 
In May, the products were shipped to the markets of EU countries, Ukraine and Moldova.
